I have filled the position as Collections Assistant for Government Information since May, 2013. My background is in Art History and I completed my M.A. from George Washington University and my B.A. from East Carolina University. While completing my M.A., I have held internships at the National Portrait Gallery, the private collection of the Kiplinger Washington Editors, Inc., and the Ellen Frank Illumination Arts Foundation, Inc. I have also worked briefly at the National Archives and Records Administration as a student assistant.
As Collections Assistant for Government Information, I maintain the government documents collection from processing incoming documents to confirming the location of government-published maps, the current number being approximately 2000! When away from the Little Library, I enjoy painting and illuminating works, researching and running on the cross country trail at Davidson College.
