Special Collections Librarian
I work with faculty, students, staff, and outside scholars doing research with materials in the Special Collections housed in the Smith Rare Book Room.
I acquire, preserve, and make accessible born-digital and digitized Davidson College archival content and engage in outreach activities to promote the use of these collections.
Justice, Equality, and Community Archivist, 2017-2020
As the Justice, Equality, and Community Archivist, I work with faculty, staff, students, and community groups to develop new archival resources and programming centered on issues of justice and equality. I am particularly interested in the gaps in the archival record —both in digital and physical formats—archival silences as related to local refugee populations, Presbyterian history, and race.
College Archivist and Records Management Coordinator
I provide vision and leadership to capture, acquire, and share college history. I create and implement the college records management program. I acquire manuscripts and books for Archives and Special Collections and provide research assistance and instruction using the resources in the department.
